Getting Bigger and Better Each Year

Today was a momentous occasion for me, I officially celebrated my Second Birthday! It has been a wonderful two years of working to try and help my Mommy and Daddy learn and grow and I think that I have been very successful.

In order to allow my fellow classmates to feel my joy, I suggested that Mommy bring Cupcakes for the class to celebrate. As you can see from the picture of me and the boys it was a big success.
I really do not think that you need such a special occasion for a Cupcake, Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner should be reason enough!












After School Mommy took me home where I had my after school snack in a well decorated chair. Mommy knows what a big fan of balloons I am and she picked some great ones.

Daddy finally came home and helped me open my present from Aunt Ruthie. I got a DVD Collection of Fraggle Rock! I have no idea what a fraggle is, but Daddy assures me it is something cool.

My birthday was a lot of fun! This weekend I get to see my Pancho and Lefty, Uncle John and Aunt Ern, and Mike, Fran, Michael, Mary, and Molly. I am very excited to have them visit. For those of you who can't visit, I appreciate your thoughts and well wishes and I hope to see you soon.

The Best Week(end) Ever!

In VH1 fashion, I thought I would give you all a synopsis of this last weekend's highlights.



1. Birthday Party, take one - due to a minor clerical mix up at school, I had a happy un-birthday party with balloons, cupcakes and cookies. Thank you Miss Ashley. You're the best teacher a almost two-year old could have.



2. My Very First Concert - Mommy and Daddy took me to Bass Hall in Fort Worth to check out the Imagination Movers. The Imagination Movers is what you get when you cross the Beastie Boys with Mr. Rogers. Check them out at http://www.imaginationmovers.com/ and let me know what you think.

I had a great time at the concert! I think that I shall have to attend more in the future. Maybe next time my Daddy will spring for seats in the non-nosebleed section.


3. After the concert I had quite an enjoyable visit with my Uncle John and Aunt Ern. Uncle John instructed me on the finer points of growing Onions, Painting Fences, Buffalo Wings, driving cross country, building nuclear reactors, the virtues of Cadillacs, and something called Winter Rats in New York. Aunt Ern cooked me up a delicious Chicken Fajita Dinner, Pecan Pie, and a great Breakfast of assorted cereals and peanut butter. Aunt Ern also gave me some food to go with the kitchen that my Pancho gave me for Christmas. It is great at their house, I told Mommy we should go back soon. Thank you for the hospitality!


By the way, if you happen near Pappas Burger in Ft. Worth, you owe it to yourself to stop. It will make you want to throw rocks at all those other inferior burgers you have eaten in the past.
