Mommy and Daddy took me to Houston to go see my 祖母, Pancho, Lefty, Aunt LaDonna, and Uncle Trent. We had a great time at the exclusive Adcock compound where I was treated to some delicious vittles and tremendous entertainment offerings.
While in Houston we were also invited to attend the First Birthday Gala Celebration of my friend Audrey. She put on one heck of a party and also made sure that everything was color coordinated.
I thought that the cake was particularly good!
As a tradition in Audrey's family, she gave everyone the honor of watching her make her Career choice. Audrey's Mommy and Daddy laid out the tools of several trades on a mat and Audrey selected the one that she felt would be best for her future. This early decision enables her Mommy and Daddy to apply for the best pre-schools and college preparatory curriculum's.
I asked Daddy what I picked up first when I was that age and he said Everything! Everything is a lot to learn, but I intend to do my best!
Once we got home, we relaxed for a while and then Mommy and Daddy took me to an event to get a DNA Sample for me. That way in case they lose me they will have a current picture, all my statistical information, and even my DNA. While all that is well and good, the really sweet thing that they had there were BALLOONS! Unlike my earlier thesis, it appears that Gravity is actually selective about what it effects. Round yellow things seem to float freely and are a lot of fun!
The weather here has also been great. I took the opportunity to stretch my legs and get outside for a bit. I am getting quite good at getting around our neighborhood and I like to keep on the look out for any suspicious activities.
I find interesting things all around, especially in the sky! Apparently, we live in what is knows as a "flightpath". This means that I can see airplanes all the time! I like to check them out and alert Mommy to their presence, she gets nervous about strange sounds. Daddy says that it is much cuter when I do it than when Lefty does!
