Santa, please stop here!

Dearest Santa,
I know we got off to a bit of a bumpy start last year and I'm afraid you might have gotten the wrong impression once again. It has been sometime since our last visit. I am deeply sorry, but I didn't recognize you right away. Have you lost weight? Anyways, when I finally realized it was you...I was just so happy to see you that couldn't contain my excitement. I know I should really control my emotions, but I am such a huge fan of yours. I hope there are not hard feelings. When you stop by this week, maybe we can get to know each other better over some milk and cookies. It may be a good idea for you to bring the milk and cookies, Mommy is not much of a baker. So long for now.

Your biggest fan,
Nugget

They're going to put me in the movies

They're gonna make a big star out of me. (Lefty, does it sound familiar?) It's just a home movie, but a girl has got to start somewhere.

Last week was our Christmas Program at school and I was in the opening act. Some of my buddys had a bit of stage fright. Luckily, all eyes were on me.

Maybe next year, Mommy and Daddy will get there early enough to get front row seats. If Daddy plays nice, maybe the nice AV professionals he works with will hook him up. I can't believe my theatrical debut is so low budget.

Is anyone out there?

I know, it has been some time since my last post. Before you all start blaming Daddy, let me explain. My Mommy has a problem. She is addicted to etsy.com, a website where people go to buy and sell all things handmade. When she is not lusting over all of the cute baby clothes and holiday decorations on Etsy, she is scouring the interweb checking out other mommy blogs about kids we don't even know. She has a serious problem. I just hope she never discovers Facebook.
Let me fill you in on what's been happening in our neck of the woods. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our extended family in Weatherford. We have so much to be thankful for.

The food was outstanding, but the company was even better. Please send Mommy the recipe for the potato caserole. YUM!

On a side note, thank you Michael for not hurting my Daddy. Poor guy thinks that he can play football, but we all know better. We finished the Thanksgiving weekend in San Antonio. We dropped in for a quick visit to have our holiday pictures taken and peek in on a few of Mommy's friends.

I also got to visit with Ari, it was just like old times. We laughed, we cried, we took pictures.

On our next trip, Daddy will just have to allow more time for visiting.
