More like my Daddy every day!

I was practicing a new skill today, sitting on my butt! My Mommy says that Daddy does it all the time, so I guess it is important to work on it.

Right now I need a little more practice, I can only sit on mine for about thirty seconds, but Daddy sits on his for hours! He must be a record holder or something.

I am also working on this whole crawling thing, I can get on my hands and feet, but just can't seem to move anywhere yet. I think it is so hard! I may just cut out the middle man and walk instead, do you think that anyone would mind?

Mornings

I am not too sure about these things called "Mornings". I always hear Daddy say that they are not his favorite at all and that he did not even see them on the weekends before I was born.

Every day, Mommy and I wake up around 5:00 so that I can get fed and she can get ready for work. Sometime around 6:00 we wake up Daddy who always seems so grumpy, how can he be grumpy when he had a whole extra hour to sleep? Daddy washes my bottles and gets me dressed. After that Mommy and I hit the road for another day. As soon as we leave, my Daddy goes and takes a nap, can you believe that?

Don't tell my Mommy, but I like to sneak in a nap while we ride to school. :)

I met an older man!

I want to introduce you to the dreamiest man I have ever met. My Mommy says that it is important to find a man that is a bit older and can take great care of me. This is Max, he is an entire day older than me so I think that will work out great.

Max is totally my opposite, he is a laid back kind of guy, and that is nice since I like to take care of most of the talking. Mommy says it is also important to find a man with good taste (I have no idea how she explains Daddy then) so just the other day I crawled over and tasted Max's leg, I am pleased to report that he tastes just fine.

Glad you got to see me!

I want to thank all of you that attended my event this weekend, I really felt the love! It was sweet of my Uncle Bob to get me an Aunt Eva, she seemed really sweet and I think that I will allow her to continue to be a part of my family. I know that it is difficult to be in my shadow, but I thought that she really came through like a champ.

The event, a wedding of some sort, went off without a hitch. I worked hard to supervise the audience so that they would show the proper attention to the couple during the nuptials. After that we all had a great breakfast and cake. My Mommy says that you should always have cake with Breakfast and I have to agree.

I also got to spend a bit of quality time with the Grandparents that told you about earlier. My Nainai Su took great care of me at night and my sweet MamaNana Della and Pappy Bill stayed where I could keep an eye on them during the day. My Pappy is so crazy! He requires my constant supervision and still seems to get into trouble a lot, I think that I will have to continue to keep an eye on him to make sure he stays in line.

I also want to thank my Aunt Ern and Uncle John for the books and toys that they gave me. It is always great to see, and taste, my dear family. Big thanks in advance to my dear friends Mary and Molly who promise to have indoor weddings, this wedding is the hottest that I have ever been in my entire life!

Overall, I really enjoyed the event. I apologize to all of you that were not able to see me individually, I always do my best to mingle, but time always seems to run short. (And I get SO sleepy!)

So much for perfect attendance

This week I discovered something called "sick", apparently this "sick" thing has a lot to do with stuff running out of your nose and your ears hurt a lot. I was being a real trooper about the whole situation, but Mommy and Daddy panicked and dragged me out in the middle of the night to see a doctor. I hate to bring it up, but you would not believe where they put thermometers!

The Doctor said that I had a cold and an ear infection. As I result, I get to drink Orange flavored Milk that Mommy makes for me and it makes my clothes very colorful when I play with Mommy and spit it out. I was also introduced to something called Tylenol that Daddy says he likes a lot. It is strange that Daddy gets to take little pills and I get something that looks like bright Red motor oil that they put in my mouth, I like to spit it out even more and it makes even brighter spots on my clothes.

To help me feel better, I got a Vaporizer in the shape of a cute Hello Kitty. It shoots steam out of it's ears and Mommy says that Daddy will do the same thing when he gets my doctors bill. I sure hope that I get to see that! I like watching my Kitty. :)

Mommy and Daddy were very tired from taking me to see the doctor, so I thought that it would be best to keep them home for a half day each. I did have to let go of my dream of perfect attendance, but their sad little eyes let me know that I made the right decision. I actually have no idea how they both managed to get along without me.

I am feeling better now and I think that Mommy and Daddy are happier. I think that I will be fully recovered for my Dallas tour date this weekend to see all of my adoring fans. I want to thank you all for your well wishes and I fully intend to avoid all thermometers from now on.

It has come to my attention

While Mommy was reading through my fan mail today, she stumbled upon a letter from someone who thought that perhaps I am not the actual author of my postings. They even went so far as to suggest the my Daddy is behind them!

The only thing that I can say to that is they have obviously never met my Daddy. For one thing, I can string together two coherent thoughts in a row. Sure, Daddy is good for a laugh from time to time with his funny faces, but I offer for you indisputable evidence that I am the author of this blog.
Just another lesson to not let others bring you down. I encourage you all to continue to enjoy. :)

Starting School

Since I seem to have shown such prowess both physically and intellectually, my Mommy and Daddy thought that I should start at school. They chose an educational facility near their jobs so that I could better monitor their work. The following is a recap of what I can only describe as a hectic day:

I started off well enough, after waking from a good nights sleep, my Mommy and Daddy got me ready in my pretty Green dress and strapped me in for safety. I decided that it would be best that I take a safety nap on the way.

I was the first student to arrive for the day, and I chose that time to relax on the "Tummy Time" mat and get a feel for my new surroundings. I finally convinced my Mommy that I was fine and that she should go to work. Mommy is such a worrier sometimes!

As the day went on I got to know my fellow students and teachers. They all seem to be impressed by my easy smile and outgoing nature. The day was going just fine until I thought that I would discretely pass a bit of gas. Little did I know that I would command everyone's attention! Apparently, I had just a bit more than gas, but the friendly teachers changed me into a new outfit so that I could enjoy the rest of the day.

My Mommy came to pick me up and was impressed by my ability to change clothes, I like to let her enjoy the moment sometimes, so I did not let on that I was not the one that changed my clothes. Mommy seemed surprised to find my Green dress in a baggie, but she was kind enough to wash it as well as possible since it is a favorite.
As you can see, I enjoyed my day at school and I am ready for a relaxing bath and some sleep. I will update you all again soon.
