our humble little home.

Please do not touch anything, Mommy gets upset when you move the dust.

This is the Living Room. Daddy used to hang out here a lot, that is, until the TV died. Excuse our naked Christmas tree, we only managed to get two ornaments this year. (Thank you Aunt Evil and Great Aunt Ruthie, the tree would have been completely bare if it weren't for you.) The rest of the ornaments are still in moving boxes, if we're lucky, they will be unpacked before next Christmas.

This is the kitchen. No, you can't see what is in the fridge. This is not MTV Cribs.

We are concluding today's tour, here in "my office".

Honey, I'm home.

Daddy came home Christmas Eve with his new friend, Sir Koff-a-lot. They do breathing exercises together... yea, right. I guess you never outgrow teddy bears.

Not to worry, Daddy is looking better these days. The doctor may even let him go back to work soon.

hmm... I wonder if he will take Sir Koff-a-lot with him.

All I want for Christmas...

Dear Santa,

I think we might have gotten off to a bumpy start. Please forgive me for my sudden outburst, I was just clearing my throat. I hope you will not let this minor miscommunication deter you from fulfilling my Christmas list.

This year, I would like you to bring my Daddy home for Christmas Day. Daddy's surgery on Wednesday went smoothly and he is well on his way to recovery. The doctors and nurses are taking good care of my Daddy, but he is still pretty sore. It's hard for him to get around and he gets tired quickly. I think the best treatment for Daddy is to be in my good company.

p.s. Mommy said you can use the front door... just be gentle with my Daddy. If you want to bring me toys too, I sure that would be okay :)

You have some explaining to do...

Where have you been??? Just kidding…. Pardon my absence, I took a brief hiatus to Houston with my 祖母, so Mommy and Daddy could get us moved back to Carrollton. I am happy to report, we are finally back together again. It was so hard for Mommy to be away from me for such a long period of time - I’m sure she thought it was the longest week ever! Luckily, Mommy’s new job took her attention away from worrying about me for a couple of days.

Thank you to all of Mommy’s friends at the hotel in San Antonio. Mommy really loves her calendar full of pictures and well wishes. Not to worry… they are good to her at her new job, but she still misses all of the food days, I mean you all. Please check in on her from time to time.

Daddy has been putting in some long hours at work lately, getting ready to be away from work for a while. He is going to have surgery next Wednesday. I may be a little preoccupied next week taking care of Daddy, but I’ll try to keep everyone up to speed on how he is feeling. Being the optimist that he is… Uncle Chad said that we would soon have the official “McRib”. Thank you Uncle Chad for always finding the silver lining. Daddy is always trying to out do you, huh? Daddy, just let it go.

Final thought… Only 10 more days until Christmas! It’s not too late to run out and get my presents :)

My First Date!

Relax Daddy, it was just a play date. Allow me to introduce you all to my new friend Ariana, she goes by "Ari" though.

She's pretty cute, huh?

It took a little while for her to warm up to me, but I'm pretty irresistible, so we were playing in no time.

Hopefully Ari's Mommy will bring her to visit me in Dallas.
