Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, it is that time that you have all been waiting for, my first birthday! While I still have my main festival coming up in a couple of weeks, Mommy and Daddy thought that they would kick things off with an intimate gathering this evening.

We started with a delicious Italian dinner with Ravioli and Marinara sauce. It was tasty and I think that I look nice with a red accent.

After that it was time to get down to business. Since Mommy says that we should eat something Green at every meal, I decided that I would have a Green Cake tonight. For the safety of the family, we did not light the candle, but it did not dampen my enjoyment.

On top of everything else, I got to visit with my Lefty who came to drop off 祖母 who just got back from Taiwan. I was sad to see Nanny Ruth go, but I know that I will see her again soon for the First Annual Maia Birthday Celebration.

I am looking forward to seeing you all soon and thank you for all the cards, presents, and good Birthday wishes.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Happy St. Patricks day to you from your favorite Irish Girl!

Game Time!

My Daddy really likes this thing called "football" so I asked Mommy to teach me all about it to strengthen our Father/Daughter bond. Since his favorite team is the Cowboys, I decided that we would start at Texas Stadium.

They had this really cute cart outside of the tour area, but they wouldn't let me drive. If you can believe it, they want you to be able to touch the steering wheel and the pedals at the SAME TIME! Don't they understand, I am not even one yet?

After that Mommy took me to the Stadium Club so that I could get a feel for how big the field is. No wonder those guys have to be so big! It would tire me out to run all the way along that!

After that we went to check out the Locker Room. There must be a lot of guys on the team, there were lots of lockers, the coaches even got lockers and they don't even get to play.

After that, it was time to hit the field. I showed Mommy and Daddy my moves, I think I may have a future in this game.
After that Mommy and I checked out the Star. Do you think they will let us be the halftime entertainment this year?
So that was our day learning about football. I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did! Mommy and I are all set with our front row seats. Does the game start soon?

Can you spot the Maia in this Picture?

I thought that for today I would offer you a challenge. Disappearing is one of my unique abilities, can you spot the Maia in this picture?
No, you do not need to worry, I understand how important my safety is to you so I will take it easy on you and reveal myself. Perhaps we can play a game of hide and go seek soon!

A Day in the Life

I have been having a good time with my Nanny Ruth and things have been quite interesting.

Just when I asked my friends Lise and Abri about that white stuff at their house, we got a huge amount of it here! As you can see in the pictures, we almost had what is called a Blizzard. Thank you two for sending it my way.
I have been doing my best to keep Nanny Ruth entertained, so today we discussed some future career options. I think that I may be able to go into entertainment, just look at my close up, my smile, and my dance moves.

Family Fun

My 祖母 is going to visit Taiwan for a couple of weeks, so we had a nice send off for her. I arranged for Mommy, Uncle Bob, Aunt Evil, Lefty, and Nanny Ruth to all get together for some Dim Sum.
I am still working on my chopstick technique, but 祖母 was happy to help me out.
I got a nice hug from my Uncle Bob and I think that everyone enjoyed themself. Lefty took 祖母 to the airport in Houston and she was flying out on Monday. I hope you waved if you saw her go by.

I enjoyed the family getting to see me! I hope that they can do it more often.

Do you ever feel like someone is watching you?

My sweet cousins Trent and LaDonna came over this weekend and helped Mommy and Daddy hang some pictures in my office. I really appreciate it, I have been trying to get Mommy and Daddy to do it since we moved in.

I think that they did a great job! However, I do feel like something is watching me.
